Saetia was one of the pioneering bands of American Screamo, gestated in the mid to late nineties. Saetia was active from 1997 to 1999, and originated in New York. Had a sound that mixes elements of hardcore punk, power violence and the influence of emo groups in the first half of the nineties, creating a unique sound, chaotic, intense, melodic. After their separation
other bands were founded, including the most famous: Off Minor.
In 2001 she published a compilation of their work, as a Preview: "A Retrospective" contains all the creations of Saetia. Finally a group that must be heard by all lovers of Screamo.
