Joy Division were an English Post Punk short existence (1976-1980). Appeared in the period in which the sound was brewing British Punk, proposing a dark sound gloomy, bleak, with a theme based in punk, fear, desolation, death, resulting from health problems suffered by the singer Ian Curtis, who constantly suffered from seizures, even during performances of Joy Division. Eventually these problems and depression eventually produce the suicide of Ian Curtis. British appeared on the scene offering something innovative. Pushed for the experimentation, to write songs totally rare, that somehow reach the listeners, on the other hand used synthesizers, giving more wealth to his proposal, and also laid the seeds for Synthpop. His main influences were Sex Pistols, which inherited the scenic domain, and secondly the influence of David Bowie is also notable. Initially
